Senior Pets

Yes, we do have a soft spot for the graying muzzle. Many of our senior pets come from area shelters where they face euthanasia. A shelter is a scary place for an older dog or cat who has known nothing but a loving home.

We also take in pets directly from their families when their caretaker has passed away or moved into a retirement facility that doesn't allow pets. Some of these dogs & cats take longer to adopt out because of their age. Many have special medical needs. Many have years of love left to give and we hope to give them that chance.
