CompAnimals began as a Senior Pet Rescue in 1999 with the rescue of Leticia and Jezabel, two senior cats who were down on their luck when their owner died unexpectedly. Leticia & Jez were placed in a home together where they were pampered throughout their senior years.

CompAnimals has gone on to rescue hundreds of unwanted pets. We have expanded to help all animals in need but specialize in the "unadoptables": cats & dogs missing hair, animals needing surgery prior to adoption, missing limbs or eyes, sick kittens or puppies that don't have a chance at the shelter, any animal that just needs a little extra TLC  before finding that forever home.

Of course we won't turn away a perfectly healthy dog or cat who, through no fault of his own has found himself on death row. And we still have a soft spot for that graying muzzle...

CompAnimals places these animals in a foster home situation with a real-life family where they are socialized and evaluated for the home that best fits them. Many live with other dogs, cats and children.

Visit our Adoption Center!

In August 2007 we opened our Adoption Center on the corner of New London Rd. (Rt. 896) and Flint Hill Rd. in Kemblesville, PA across from Hill's Auction. Stop by to see some of our animals for adoption Wednesday through Saturday from 12 to 5pm (Sunday by appointment). Many of our dogs are in foster care and they will come visit us from time to time. So email us if you are interested in seeing a particular dog. Our cats are available at the Adoption Center during all of our open hours. Please email for more info!

CompAnimals has rescued over 750 animals!

CompAnimals has a No-Kill policy. Every animal that walks through our doors will find a forever home or will live out their natural life with us.
